Privacy policy

HypingUp (hypingup.com) turns a song link into one page that opens in every music app, and gives artists their own page. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
What we collect from artists who sign in
- From Google sign-in: your name, email address and Google account ID. We don't get your password, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
- What you add to your page: your artist name, photo, bio, colors, social links, songs, shows and releases. This is shown publicly on your page, because that's the point of it.
- Your plan: when your free trial started and ends, and any free months from invites.
What we collect from visitors
- Simple, anonymous stats: which pages are opened and which buttons are tapped, the country, the type of device, and where the visit came from (for example Instagram). We use these to show artists how their links are doing.
- We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors, we mix it with the date into a one-way code that changes every day and can't be turned back into your IP address.
- We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
Brand deals
If you switch on “Open to brand deals”, we may contact you by email or through your socials about paid opportunities, and we may share your public page, your city and your page stats with brands that are interested in working with you. We never share your email with a brand without asking you first. You can switch it off any time in your account.
Messages to artists
If you send an artist a message from their page, we keep your message and anything you choose to add (your name and an email or username) and show it only to that artist. If you tick the box to hear about new music, that artist can see your email and contact you about their music. To have a message removed, ask the artist or email us.
Cookies and storage
- A sign-in cookie that keeps artists signed in. It holds a random code; we store only a scrambled version of it.
- A small cookie that remembers whether to show paid features.
- Short-lived cookies that remember an invite or the message that brought you here, so the right person gets credit.
- Your browser remembers which music app you tapped last, so we can open it for you next time. This stays on your device.
Other services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our data.
- Google handles sign-in.
- Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube and SoundCloud: we look up songs, artwork and previews from them. Your browser may contact Apple directly to find a song. When you tap a button you leave our site, and that service's own privacy policy applies.
Emails
If you have an artist account, we may email you about your page, your trial or new features. Just reply to say you'd rather not get them and we'll stop.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account while you use it. To see your information, change it or delete your account and everything on your page, email shutafimbmaaseh@gmail.com and we'll do it within 30 days. Anonymous stats can't be linked back to you, so they stay.
Security
We use encrypted connections everywhere, store sign-in codes only in scrambled form, and limit who can see account data. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
Children
Artist accounts are for people aged 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has made an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Questions? Email shutafimbmaaseh@gmail.com.
